Effervescent of Life

Where needed, TOAST is able to leverage the expertise and experience of our partner network.
This includes partnerships with Ki Ora NZ.

Strategic Sustainability Initiatives

Actions speak louder than words. Our participation in protecting and educating the next generation counts and so does yours. Ki Ora NZ supports Te Tiriti o Waitangi in New Zealand and the Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations through our Strategic Initiatives. We’re building partnerships and invite your organization to join our sustainability initiatives, so together, we thrive.

Ki Ora Mission

Ki Ora NZ designs, develops, manufactures and manages symbiotic systems. Our mission is to support environments to become prosperous, resilient places where people thrive. We do this through ground-up innovations, with practice-based evidence to influence systems change to shape new markets and ideas.

Toast & Ki Ora

Toast collaborates with Ki Ora NZ, a Māori owned cultural consultancy agency that integrates Te Ao Māori values such as Whanaungatanga and Manaakitanga (supporting positive relationships in what we do inhouse and in the community), Kaitiakitanga (Human - Environmental reciprocity and sustainability for our natural resources) and Manawhakahaere (Quality leadership, management and governance working with Mana Whenua within media branding).

A wellbeing package internship provides Rangatahi educational and community support pathways.

Toast and Ki Ora NZ are committed to creating a culturally safe and inclusive environment for Māori to fully participate and engage in current activities and new initiatives. The Treaty of Waitangi guides our practice by honouring the histories, cultures, languages and traditions when interacting with Tangata whenua. This creative collaboration ensures Māori businesses are considered and included in the development of new or existing work programs and participating in the partnership.

Toast works towards pathways working with Māori businesses to be included within its procurement processes and platforms protecting the cultural validity of our services are Tika (responsible and accountable to what we say and do), Pono (done honestly with integrity) and with Aroha (with empathy, generosity and compassion).
